A Family Affair

When a movie star(s) have the choice to say yes to a script, or no… unfortunately this time they all said yes. And what they said yes to, oh boy! It was like watching DC Comics’s Plastic Man fuck a blonde skeleton. I’m actually a fan of Effron, but this one seems to be nothing more than a cash grab rom com, or a chance to hook up with Nicole Kidman on set.

In this plastic surgery botch job of a rom com, I can’t help but think Nicole Kidman looks like one of those plastic skeletons you find every year at Spirit Halloween, and slapped a blonde wig on it. Glad to see she at very least is in a movie, and not just hosting us at an AMC theater.

The main focus of the story is that there are different levels of being self centered and what we can learn about ourselves by fucking old skeletons. What this creates is a, “who gives a fuck about anyone in this movie?” type of feeling. Ironically multiple times they talk about Zack’s character not taking jobs because of bad scripts, or re-writes. The irony is real…. Giving it 1.5 pals because I did chuckle a handful of times and Joey King reminds me of my high school girlfriend. Overall, time wasted.
